2016 Professional Awards

Landscape Architects Present Annual Awards

At its annual Awards Gala on May 12, the Potomac Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects recognized 16 projects with professional awards.  In addition, Paige Courtney, a Virginia Tech student at the Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center, was presented with the Edward B. Ballard Scholarship.  Finally, Darwina Neal, FASLA, was celebrated with the Chapter’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

The top professional award – the President’s Award – was presented to Montgomery County Department of Parks, Park Development Division for Little Bennett Regional Park Day Use Area Phase 1.  The team is shown here, accepting the award from Potomac Chapter President Dena Kennett (left).
